Ferris is into the high-horsepower diesel market with the top-of-the-line Catapiller C1.7L turbocharged diesel engine. This engine has a life expectancy between four and five thousand hours (double that of gas engines), and that it’s rated at 48 gross horsepower (the highest for a zero-turn mower in its class) and 1700cc of grass dominating power.
Performance Monitoring Display
The interactive onboard display maintains and monitors the performance and operation of the mower for peak performance. The display also ensures the proper engagement of safety interlock and mower components with visual fault indicators to extend the life of belts and clutch.
